Biographic info

Amy Coulon, PT, DPT, ATP studied at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where she received a BS in Health Sciences and a Masters of Physical Therapy degree.  She later matriculated at Temple University and was awarded her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.  In addition, Amy has maintained her ATP certification since 2006, identifying her as an Assistive Technology Professional in the field of wheelchair prescription and seating/mobility.

Amy brings with her 20+ years of experience of providing physical therapy services in the home health setting.  This includes a targeted focus on wheelchair evaluation/management in the home environment for 17 years.  Patient populations served include both pediatric and adult demographic groups.

Amy is the Assistant Activities Director for a PA Vent Camp.  This is a summer camp for children who are ventilator dependent and wheelchair users.  She has passionately volunteered for 16 years at PA Vent Camp and it her greatest pride and joy, second only to her own family.  She is a wife and mother of two boys.  Amy is a music aficionado and can often be found at live music performances.  Her other hobbies include outdoor/camping activities and caring for two very energetic Brittany Spaniels.
